There are many ways to get involved in our community

Wikimedia projects are possible thanks to thousands of volunteers and you can be one of them.

Everyone has knowledge to share. From writing or improving a Wikipedia article, to documenting cultural events and uploading images to Wikimedia Commons. Individuals, groups or organizations: you can all be part of the Wikimedia ecosystem. The more diverse our community, the more and better will be the contents of Wikipedia and its sister projects. We have a strong commitment to linguistic diversity and gender diversity.

RELATIONS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

If you are part of a cultural institution

We collaborate with public and private entities to help them share their knowledge in the Internet ecosystem. We put at your disposal a powerful digital platform to show the public your collections, institutional knowledge and experience.

Wikimedia projects collect content in the public domain and with free licenses, allowing citizens better access to culture and knowledge. We work together with museums, libraries, archives and other organizations to preserve or spread their funds. In this way we also help them reach new audiences.

Help us share knowledge and make it free

Our global volunteer community includes more than 200,000 people editing and sharing knowledge in multiple formats, millions of people viewing information or reading, and tens of thousands making small donations to support us.
